Refund Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

We would rather you leave with your money than stay on a plan that does not fit. This page says exactly when we refund and when we do not.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

1. Fourteen days on your first payment

If the Service is not what you expected, write to us within 14 days of your first paid subscription payment and we refund it in full. You do not have to explain why.

This applies to the first payment on an account. It is not a rolling monthly guarantee.

2. Renewals

Renewal payments are not refundable. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for — after that you are not billed again.

If you were charged after cancelling, or the charge is otherwise wrong, write to us and we will fix it.

3. Usage charges

Charges for storage and bandwidth above your plan allowance are not refundable. Those resources have already been delivered and paid for on our side.

You can see your current usage in the billing section of your account at any time, and the free plan pauses uploads instead of charging overage.

4. When we decline

We may decline a refund where an account was used to abuse the Service — for example, uploading a large media library, serving it to an audience, and then asking for the money back — or where the request is fraudulent.

If we terminate your account for a serious breach of the Terms of Service, unused time is not refunded.

5. How to request a refund

Write to contact@cosmiclms.app from the email address on the account, with the subject "Refund request". Include your school name and the date of the payment.

We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are submitted to Lemon Squeezy immediately; how quickly the money lands depends on your bank, usually 5 to 10 business days.

Lemon Squeezy may also issue a refund on its own initiative within 60 days of a purchase under its buyer terms.

6. Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. This policy matches that period and does not reduce it.

Nothing here limits rights that the law of your country of residence gives you and does not allow to be waived.
